Seersucker Season is upon Us [Ladies]

Without a doubt one of my favorite parts of Spring/Summer season is seeing ladies in their floral spring/summer dresses. Betabrand has added a twist to the spring/summer dress like only they can. Betabrand has a unique design style all their own and I really like this new take on the summer dress. They have also added a more laid back hoodie option. A New Tango…Tangerine

Did any body know that we have an official world authority on color? 


Well we do…Pantone LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of X-Rite, Incorporated, is the world-renowned authority on color founded in 1963. The latest and greatest official color as dictated by, is Pantone 17-1463, better known as tangerine tango. Described as a spirited reddish orange or a rich shade of orange with subtle hints of red. Pantone says its a, “Sophisticated, but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it." I think it’s a warm, refreshing nod to the color and energy already seen with the color blocking trend of 2011.


Tommy Hilfiger, Nanette Lepore, Cynthia Steffe by Shaun Kearney, Elie Tahari and Adrienne Vittadini are all officially reported by the Pantone Fashion Color Report Spring 2012 to be incorporating tangerine tango colors into their spring collections.


Work this color into your spring 2012 looks. And it has just enough warmth that tangerine tango will be a great color to extend into fall. Here are some looks that I hope will inspire you to add a little Pantone 17-1463 to your world.


Tangerine blazer: makes a great mix and match piece that would work with denim, a pencil skirt or leggings. If you are on a budget look for accessories with Tangerine Tango [Pantone 17-1463] scarfs, earrings, bags, rings, necklaces, etc.
